The New York Times reports on the impact of the Access to Medicine Index and the journey of founder Wim Leereveld. The Times writes that after seeing the impact of the Access to Medicine Index, Leereveld proceeded with setting up benchmarks focusing on other industries such as the Access to Seeds Index:
Mr. Leereveld, who said he was “very happy, very proud” of the effects of his index, went on to found others ranking mining companies on their environmentalism and seed companies on getting their product to small farmers.
