Alongside the SUN Global Gathering in Kathmandu, the Access to Seeds Index organized a farmer roundtable in collaboration with the SUN Business Network, NACCFL, Agriterra and the World Benchmarking Alliance. It highlighted the relevance of access to quality seeds of improved varieties for the food system transformation agenda. For the first time business were invited to the roundtables to encourage the dialogue on how farmers and companies can collaborate.
Integration with the World Benchmarking Alliance
The Access to Seeds Index is now part of the World Benchmarking Alliance. All indexes up to 2020 can be found here. New indexes and methodologies are published on the website of the WBA.
