India emerges as major seed hub in AsiaIndia is emerging as a major seed center in Asia. A recent study has revealed that 18 of the 24 major seed companies have invested in the development and production activities of seeds in India. According to PTI news agency, global and local seed companies are investing heavily in India to increase the crop productivity for the smallholder farmers. Read more (in Hindi)
