Amirul Islam holds his MSc in Agricultural Science. He has seventeen years of experience in the field of agriculture and food security with a focus on climate resilient sustainable agricultural practices and wealth creation value chain development. At ActionAid Bangladesh, he was Manager Food Rights and Sustainable Livelihoods, at BRAC Bangladesh, he was Senior Manager Agriculture and Food Security and at Heifer International Bangladesh he was Assistant Director of Programs. Amirul is currently working as Operations Manager with the Asian Farmers Association for South and Central Asia.
